The Old Buckenham Cricket Club Social Committee is proud to announce the inaugural running of the Old Buckenham Cricket Club Racing Festival to be held at the clubhouse and ground on Friday 14th June. Doors open at 6:30 with the action starting around 7:30. We really hope to see juniors and parents stay around after All Stars and that we are joined by all members of the mens and ladies teams as well as our loyal supporters and friends.
During what is sure to be a hugely entertaining, and hopefully well supported, night we will have eight action filled races with everyone assured to have a good time. The night will help raise funds for the Club to use to continue providing the best facilities and environment possible for the entire club from the Junior set up through to the Ladies and Men’s teams.
We have now almost finalised the racecard (attached below and also available in the clubhouse) and have secured prizes for the races. All we need now, other than your attendance on the night, is to find owners for all the horses. Horse ownership starts at £5 for races 1-4, £10 for races 5-7 and with a auction on the night for the final race. It would be amazing we could sell all the horses in before the night and thank you all in advance for your support.
